The Road Goes Ever On

Katelyn, a whimsical 19 year old in love with life. My blog contains whatever strikes my fancy. Often British and French things. I dream of a time when this blog will be in French.

Ask away my boy.
The Hunger Games gets my stamp of approval.
It is a fantastic book to movie adaptation.  I came out of the theater thinking Wow that was really good.  Instead of the usual Well… it could have been worse… I guess.  No, really the actors and actress executed their parts down to a tee.  The score was great, the cinematography beautiful.  The parts that were cut, were unimportant, they were the kind of cuts that you quickly forgot about or understood why they were cut.  Besides those few little things, everything else was present.  I was particularly impressed how the added scenes actually fit and made the movie in some ways more cohesive. To an extent it reminds me of The Lord of the Rings.  That’s how well done I think it is.  Over all go and see it.  I went and saw it with a friend who nit picks every little detail and she for once had only a few comments.  Instead of a 20 minute long speech.  If you’re wary it’s going to ruin the book, don’t be, it wont.
Job well done to everyone who help in anyway with this film, it is really a beauty.  I already have plans to go and see it again tomorrow afternoon.  Hunger Games; All the Awards.
